Consumer Mediator

In accordance with article L. 211-3 of the French Consumer Code, the Principal is hereby informed that, as a consumer, he/she has the right to have recourse to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of any dispute that may arise between him/her and the Agent. The terms and conditions of this mediation are governed by articles L. 611-1 et seq. and R. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, which stipulate in particular that :

1. Mediation is free of charge for the consumer, with the exception of the costs stipulated in 3° and 4° of article R. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code.
2. The Principal must have first attempted to resolve the dispute directly with the Agent by means of a written complaint.
3. The dispute must be referred to the mediator within one year of the date of the written complaint to the professional.
4. The mediator, who must be registered on the list of mediators approved by the Commission d'Evaluation et de Contrôle de la Médiation, carries out his mission with diligence and competence, in complete independence and impartiality, within the framework of a transparent, efficient and fair procedure.
